Brandon Smith is a founding principal of Core Growth Partners.
With extensive experience in both
executive development and
corporate growth, Brandon is committed to helping client
organizations
discover their core strengths and leverage those
in strategic ways to reach their fullest potential in
their given marketplace.
Brandon has worked with organizations representing a variety of industries ranging from quick
service
restaurants to engineering services. Notable client organizations include: Chick-fil-A, John
Wieland
Homes and Neighborhoods, Emory University and Synovus.
Prior to forming Core Growth Partners, Brandon worked for AEGON (NYSE: AEG), a global insurance
and financial services provider.
While at AEGON, Brandon managed the training and business development
arm for North American financial institution clients. In addition, Brandon has an extensive background in
the clinical counseling arena. He has counseled clients in both professional and clinical
settings, including
work at Ridgeview Institute, a world-renown inpatient mental health facility.
Brandon received an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University with a concentration in
communications and team dynamics. His graduate work includes a M.S. in counseling from Georgia
State University as well as a M.B.A. from Emory University's Goizueta Business School. Brandon
currently
teaches at the graduate level on topics related to Leadership and Management Communications at Emory University's Goizueta Business School and Georgia State University's J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
Brandon resides in Atlanta with his wife and their three children.
